We provide free, professional counseling and no-cost support programs from the beginning of your pregnancy and for as long as you need it once your baby is born. Our main goal is to provide a service of love to each woman.

Melissa’s Smile

The news that your baby will be born with special needs is a frightening, stressful time for all parents. Melissa’s Smile is a counseling and supportive resource for mothers and fathers whose baby has been diagnosed prenatally with a genetic abnormality or whose baby has been born with a disability or serious medical condition.

Women’s education and support groups for current clients cover a range of topics based on client needs.
Scholarship Program
Established in 2001, The Scholarship Program supports clients who are unsure of how they will financially care for their baby and continue their education. The program offers financial and academic support so that no woman has to choose between her baby and a circumstantial pressure in her life.

Financial Literacy Class
The Financial Literacy Class meets to cover finance topics such as setting financial goals, tracking spending, saving, credit, budgeting, investing, self-advocacy, and seasonal concerns. Clients in the class talk with local professionals regarding their personal circumstances and make a financial plan customized to their needs. The goal of this program is to assist our clients in acquiring the knowledge and tools needed to make positive decisions with their money and create a more financially stable future for them and their children.
